Public Sector Lawyer (Casualty)

Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance typically one day per week

What you will do

• Assist with a varied caseload of complex and high-value Employers’ and Public Liability claims.
• Review and analyse liability, causation, and quantum evidence.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Support trial preparation and attend conferences.
• Conduct legal research, contribute to strategic advice on novel legal issues, and assist with tribunal matters.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor at NQ–2 years’ PQE, with equivalent experience also considered for non-qualified candidates.
• Experience in personal injury, casualty litigation, insurance litigation, or general dispute resolution.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Genuine interest in complex litigation.
