TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Bolton (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of litigated RTA suspected fraud files from litigation through to resolution.
  • Analyze evidence and set case strategies in collaboration with Lead Lawyers and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with court timetables, procedural deadlines, and client guidelines.
  • Conduct investigations and undertake advocacy where cost-effective.
  • Maintain accurate case management systems and ensure timely billing.
  • Delegate tasks to legal support staff to drive case progression.

Requirements

  • Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler.
  • Working knowledge of the litigation process and CPR.
  • Understanding of insurance litigation practice, processes, and indemnity principles.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet strict deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical, listening, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Bolton.

Nice to have

  • Qualified solicitor or CILEX status with practice rights.
  • Experience handling linked and organized fraud cases.
  • Experience with RTA pre-litigated or litigated caseloads.
