TL;DR
Account Executive (Fintech): Driving revenue growth by sourcing and closing new restaurant partnerships to expand the network with an accent on outbound prospecting and pipeline management. Focus on building long-term relationships with restaurant partners and navigating the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Location: Must reside in the San Diego, CA area. Role includes up to 3 days per week of in-market activities and up to 25% travel.
Salary: $100,000 base + $60,000 OTE, uncapped

What you will do
- Source, qualify, and close new restaurant partners to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas.
- Maintain a full pipeline by reviewing old leads and re-engaging lost opportunities.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted partner for prospects and customers.
- Collaborate with Onboarding, Marketing, and demand generation teams to refine acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to secure future leads and referrals.
- Track all deals and communications in Salesforce in real time.
Requirements
- Must reside in the San Diego, CA area.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quota-exceeding Sales role, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS.
- Hunter mentality with solid sales and business acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive existing customer network.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Nice to have
- 10+ years of experience in quota-exceeding sales roles.
- Direct experience working with restaurants or food-related clients.
- Experience working in a start-up environment.
