TL;DR

Vice President, Sales (B2B Events): Leading strategic growth and revenue performance for high-impact B2B trade events and media brands with an accent on market expansion and high-performing team leadership. Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Irving, TX, USA (Hybrid: 3+ days in office)

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 + commission

What you will do

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive domestic and international growth.
  • Take full ownership of revenue performance across events, media, sponsorships, and digital products.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-level sales team to exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with key industry stakeholders and high-value accounts.
  • Oversee sales pipeline, budgets, and CRM data management via Salesforce.
  • Drive customer retention and growth through cross-selling and upselling strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in events or media, leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving profitability.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on accountability and mentorship.
