What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for legal, operational, and data spend aligned with business priorities.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ) from market analysis through to contract signature.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, including QBRs, performance scorecards, and continuous improvement plans.
• Embed the use of the hirify.global Marketplace global procurement platform across all regions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, rate cards, and Statements of Work (SoWs) to ensure measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Legal and Risk teams to implement contractual terms regarding IP, data protection, and liability.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work in York on a hybrid basis.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, vendor management principles, and best practices.
• Proven experience in negotiating Legal Services spend and managing Supplier Performance (SLAs, KPIs).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to structure deals and manage risk/reward.
• Degree in business, procurement, finance, law, or a related discipline.
• Expert knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements to mitigate legal risk.

Nice to have

• Professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS Level 5/6).
• Contract management qualification or relevant compliance training (anti-bribery, data protection).
• Specialized negotiation training.
