What you will do

• Lead and mentor teams of cloud engineering professionals to support development lifecycles.
• Direct the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-implemented solutions.
• Implement common operating procedures to ensure efficient and economical cloud services.
• Manage personnel performance, hiring, and overall employee satisfaction within the division.
• Collaborate with data collection, simulation, and architecture teams to adhere to development standards.
• Control cloud infrastructure environments to maximize process efficiency and minimize costs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in managing or leading software development project teams.
• 5+ years of experience in public cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
• Must be based in Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL; Denver, CO; or Irving, TX.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, Agile frameworks, and cybersecurity principles.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing infrastructure for Omniverse and Run.ai.
• Proven background in FinOps and Cloud Operations management.
