Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; on-site

Salary: $175,000–$195,000 base plus a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance

What you will do

• Architect and own multi-tenant Azure and AWS infrastructure with high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Lead infrastructure-as-code strategy and build repeatable, auditable environments.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable feature delivery.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, performance engineering, observability, and operational reliability.
• Own cloud infrastructure security and support SOC 2 and StateRAMP compliance.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems, advise engineering, product, and security teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering.
• 3+ years of running Kubernetes at scale in production on public cloud environments, with Azure preferred.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including managed Kubernetes, databases, networking, and RBAC.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD tooling, cloud security, and at least one of Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with AI-driven developer tooling, regulated environments, and SOC 2 or StateRAMP compliance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ArgoCD or other GitOps-based deployment frameworks.
