Salary: $297,000 – $330,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead the global import customs strategy and operating model for hardware sourcing, development materials, and logistics.
• Own governance for HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin, including decision quality and supplier data requirements.
• Partner with Engineering and Strategic Finance to build durable landed-cost and tariff-impact decision models.
• Manage broker strategy and operating standards across customs brokers, freight forwarders, and trade-advisory partners.
• Build and scale import documentation, recordkeeping, and supplier-onboarding requirements for customs-critical data.
• Develop AI-enabled internal tooling and agentic workflows to improve triage, document review, and overall program scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade operations, trade law, cross-border ecommerce, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience leading import customs or trade operations in electronics, semiconductors, robotics, or advanced hardware.
• Deep expertise in trade law, including import classification, customs valuation, and prototype/temporary-import frameworks.
• Proven track record of building and scaling programs in multinational, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environments.
• Ability to translate customs requirements into workflows, systems requirements, and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows, internal tools, or agentic processes for policy-heavy operational work.
