Senior Physical Security Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Oakland, California, United States; travel to various job sites is required.

Salary: $158,100–$197,600 per year.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of physical security infrastructure projects, from site assessment and design validation through commissioning and closeout.
• Lead on-site installation operations and coordinate general contractors, electrical trades, and security integrators.
• Oversee installation and configuration of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom, and perimeter protection systems.
• Conduct site walk-throughs, testing, commissioning, and final handoff with accurate as-built documentation and change orders.
• Track labor, materials, project budgets, and change orders while providing structured status reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure project delivery follows governance standards and on-site work complies with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience managing physical security or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of access control, video surveillance and VMS, and intrusion detection hardware and software integration.
• Ability to read construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experience managing project lifecycles with professional PMO tools and documentation standards.
• Ability to travel to job sites and a valid driver's license.

Nice to have

• PMP, PSP, CPP, or manufacturer-specific security platform certifications.
• Experience coordinating with general contractors or working for a security integrator.
• Familiarity with job-site compliance and construction sequencing.
