What you will do

• Follow GM safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; use required PPE; support safety checks, audits, and incident investigations.
• Operate equipment and execute development builds across slurry/mixing, coating, calendaring, assembly, formation, and end-of-line testing.
• Perform material preparation, machine setup, parameter verification, and process start-up/shut-down; monitor equipment performance and respond to abnormalities.
• Support manufacturing system activities including equipment commissioning, testing, validation, process trials, capability studies, and data collection.
• Conduct in-process inspections, measurements, and data recording; assist with root-cause troubleshooting and built-in-quality/containment when required.
• Maintain and improve documentation (JES/TIS/SOPs and related materials) and communicate clearly across shifts to ensure continuity.

Requirements

• Location: Onsite in Warren, Michigan
• 1–3+ years of manufacturing, operations, or technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow standardized work instructions and technical documentation; familiarity with measurements, inspection tools, and data entry.
• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
• Ability to wear required PPE (including clean room suits and respirators if required).
