What you will do

• Support vehicle launches as a key member of the plant Electrical Team.
• Complete GM and supplier training and execute launch activities at plants and wiring suppliers.
• Implement Launch Protection Plan and Electrical Bill of Operations, including on-site workshops and assessments.
• Act as plant and supplier voice in wire harness and electrical architecture reviews.
• Support virtual builds, early build readiness, manufacturability assessments, and repair strategies.
• Ensure defect-free harness delivery and resolve electrical issues, including warranty support.
• Lead in-plant wiring harness assessments, troubleshooting, corrective actions, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience with automotive electrical subsystems.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–50%.
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• 3+ years experience with automotive electrical sub-systems.
• Prior manufacturing plant experience in Electrical or Plant Floor Operations.
• Experience in Electrical Engineering and automotive manufacturing.
• Supervisory role on plant floor, managing UAW employees.
• Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Requirements and build process impact.
