TL;DR
SS Paint Tech Team Lead (Automotive): Overseeing vehicle paint, prep, and finish processes for military mobility products with an accent on production throughput and high-quality workmanship. Location: Onsite in Concord, North Carolina. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylee or refugee) due to export control restrictions.

What you will do
- Lead a team of process technicians to achieve daily production throughput targets.
- Oversee all vehicle paint, prep, finish, and detailing processes within the assigned area.
- Perform and support vehicle disassembly, body preparation, refinishing, and reassembly through the IRC process.
- Troubleshoot and document paint defects, fit and finish concerns, and basic mechanical/electrical issues.
- Enforce established safety policies and maintain Workplace Organization (WPO) standards.
- Ensure proper training of operators and maintain work-station coverage with qualified personnel.
Requirements
- 3 years of body repair experience.
- 3 years of automotive paint experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or shop environment.
- Strong working knowledge of paint application, surface preparation, masking, and defect correction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- No immigration sponsorship provided; must have existing legal work authorization for the US.
Nice to have
- Experience leading technicians in a low-volume production or vehicle build environment.
- Experience with military vehicles, specialty vehicles, or prototype builds.
