TL;DR

Global Payroll & Benefits Manager (Fintech): Leading the end-to-end payroll and benefits function across 14+ countries with an accent on compliance, vendor management, and process optimization. Focus on building robust controls, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and leading a team of specialists to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.

Location: Must be based in Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: 3 days in office required).

What you will do

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery and benefits administration across 14+ countries.
  • Lead and develop a team of 7+ payroll and benefits specialists.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced payroll vendors and benefits brokers to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Partner with Finance and Tax teams to ensure accurate reconciliation and statutory compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and stabilization of payroll operations using ADP and Workday.
  • Maintain a strong controls framework and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from Kraków, Poland.
  • Proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations and benefits administration.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing payroll teams.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP in a multi-country environment.
  • Solid understanding of payroll compliance, statutory requirements, and audit frameworks.
  • Ability to manage external vendors and hold them accountable to SLAs.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech or regulated financial services.
  • Familiarity with Workday for HR/payroll.
  • Exposure to payroll vendor consolidation or re-procurement.
  • Experience in a matrix-structured, globally distributed organization.
