Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the user interface and frontend architecture for the core product.
• Architect a flexible, scalable React ecosystem for mission-critical healthcare widgets and user-facing AI tools.
• Design intuitive interfaces that help providers and operational staff navigate clinical data and AI-surfaced insights.
• Build interfaces for Prior Authorizations, Appeals, and Patient Interactions, prioritizing clarity and speed.
• Collaborate with Full Stack and Backend Engineers to define interfaces and APIs and support rapid product delivery.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience architecting large, scalable frontend applications rather than marketing sites.
• High standards for code quality and user experience.
• Proficiency with development tools, the command line, and keyboard-driven workflows.
• Willingness to work in the San Francisco office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building interfaces that interact with EHR systems or manage complex clinical data.
• Curiosity about healthcare technologies and clinical domains such as Prior Authorizations.
