Location: Must be based in Germany. Munich (Hybrid, 3 days in office) or Berlin (Remote). Relocation assistance available for Munich.

What you will do
- Manage a focused portfolio of large pharmaceutical and life sciences accounts using long-term strategic plans.
- Lead complex sales cycles across R&D, medical, regulatory, and commercial functions.
- Partner with solutions and research engineering to design pilots demonstrating measurable business and scientific impact.
- Collaborate with compliance, privacy, and security teams to ensure responsible AI deployment in regulated environments.
- Own revenue and consumption targets, including pipeline reporting and forecasting.
- Represent OpenAI at industry conferences and monitor FDA/EMA trends to guide product strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience selling complex enterprise software or PaaS to healthcare or life sciences customers.
- Proven success achieving annual revenue targets of $2M+ in regulated industries.
- Experience managing C-suite relationships across R&D, IT, medical, and commercial teams.
- Strong understanding of HLS workflows such as drug discovery, clinical trials, and regulatory submissions.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards including HIPAA and GxP.
- Must be based in or be able to relocate to Germany.
