What you will do

• Provide pragmatic legal advice on retail savings and investment products, including structuring and design.
• Interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory frameworks to business operations.
• Support the development and implementation of new and existing product propositions.
• Draft and review policy terms, conditions, and customer-facing marketing materials.
• Identify and manage legal, regulatory, and conduct risks across the product lifecycle.
• Influence and engage with senior stakeholders to ensure business objectives align with legal requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with at least 4 years of relevant PQE.
• Proven experience in life insurance, asset/wealth management, or retail financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks for retail investment products.
• Ability to provide clear, commercially pragmatic legal recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
