What you will do

• Advise on financial regulatory frameworks (PSD2, CRD, CRR, MiFID II) and ensure operational compliance.
• Structure financial transactions and support the launch of credit products.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing, service, and outsourcing agreements.
• Liaise with EU regulators regarding licensing and reporting.
• Provide legal guidance to product and marketing teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage dispute resolution and litigation strategies.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in a reputable law firm, fintech, bank, or regulatory authority in an EU member state.
• Bar admittance in the Netherlands or Germany.
• Deep understanding of EU regulatory frameworks (PSD2, CRD, CRR, MiFID II).
• Proven track record in structuring international financial transactions.
• Experience with payment services and SME lending.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience in trading products.
• Proficiency in Dutch or other EU member state languages.
