TL;DR

Solutions Engineer (Enterprise SaaS): Drive first meetings and create new selling opportunities by researching enterprise prospects’ pain points, delivering technical product demonstrations, and running proofs of concept with an accent on translating technical environments into business value and coordinating technical positioning with Sales. Focus on building a qualified revenue pipeline through inbound and outbound outreach and maintaining accurate CRM/POC status in Hubspot.

Location: US, CST Remote

Salary: $130K–$150K (equity and commission offered)

What you will do

  • Research and analyze prospects’ pain points, use cases, roles, and business objectives.
  • Own technical positioning and value proposition during customer engagements; educate prospects and deliver technical demos and proofs of concept.
  • Translate technical environment details into “big picture” value statements and a “technical win” strategy with Sales.
  • Pre-qualify prospects via inbound and strategic outbound campaigns (email, phone, social) and set first meetings with qualified users and senior decision makers.
  • Maintain accurate prospect data and POC statuses in Hubspot.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, SE Leader, Account Executives, and VP of Sales to execute and adjust pipeline generation and deal strategy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct enterprise SE experience or 5+ years of total experience.
  • 4–5 years selling enterprise SaaS or Open Source SaaS to Network Engineering, Network Management, or other technical enterprise buyers.
  • 2+ years experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) and ability to break down complex technical topics.
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience with Hubspot and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator, Seamless.ai).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with NetBox and network engineering/network automation use cases (e.g., Python, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with Claude and ChatGPT.
