Sr. Solutions Architect - SHI Labs (Networking)

Location: Somerset, NJ, USA

Salary: $175,000–$240,000 annual pay range, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for customer-facing network solution demonstrations, workshops, technical deep dives, and executive briefings.
• Translate business and security requirements into use cases, test plans, and reference architectures.
• Design and build complex lab environments simulating enterprise network architectures.
• Develop and execute proof-of-concept and proof-of-value testing across multiple network solutions.
• Lead technical scoping, sizing, delivery planning, and resolution of complex or at-risk deployments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, provide vendor feedback, and mentor engineers across the networking practice.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or consulting.
• Strong expertise in secure access and network security, including ZTNA, SASE, VDI, NGFW, segmentation, and SD-WAN.
• Expertise in WAN/LAN design and routing technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS.
• Experience with cloud and virtualization environments, including VPCs, VPNs, and hybrid data centers.
• Hands-on ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and test complex integrated, multi-vendor environments.
• Experience in a VAR, consulting firm, or systems integrator and in hybrid pre-sales/post-sales engagements is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Arista, Aruba/HPE, BlueCat, Cisco/Meraki, Cradlepoint, Dell, Extreme, Fortinet, Juniper/HPE, LogicMonitor, Netgear, Ruckus, or SolarWinds.
• Experience operating as a Principal Consultant or Senior Architect in a VAR or consulting environment.
