What you will do

• Design and build complex A/V and broadcast systems, providing technical analysis for hardware implementation.
• Maintain media storage, video edit suites, and engineering racks used for signal routing and broadcast.
• Route and distribute broadcast signals across the Center, ensuring clear signal paths and wireless frequency compliance.
• Create system block diagrams, wiring layouts, and other technical engineering drawings.
• Provide project management, including developing operation manuals and coordinating shop and field testing.
• Perform ongoing engineering support and troubleshooting for the GRC Multimedia Team.

Requirements

• College degree in Electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering television and AV systems.
• Knowledge of multimedia and broadcast systems design, including NEC and A/V best practices.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Cleveland, Ohio.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), SharePoint, and Vizio.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and provide regular status reports.

Nice to have

• Experience with analog and digital baseband over copper or short haul fiber optics.
• Knowledge of IPTV, virtual routing systems, and facility automation.
• Experience with audio mixing systems, digital switching, and multicamera production.
