Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly

What you will do

• Partner with Engineering teams to maintain and upgrade transmission and acquisition equipment.
• Procure and manage broadcast technologies, tools, and solutions for live operations.
• Lead proofs of concept for new tools, evaluating scalability, security, and operational value.
• Collaborate with Production and Network Engineering on streaming video initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, including procurement, onboarding, and service performance.
• Review telecom and vendor contracts to identify service improvements and cost savings.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in live-to-air television operations (TOC/NOC).
• Hands-on expertise with transmission hardware (LiveU, satellite receivers, encoders/decoders, routers).
• Strong understanding of operational technology for 24/7 broadcast facilities.
• Effective communication skills for presenting technical plans and budgets to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and collaborative platforms.
• Must be able to work from the New Jersey office at least three days per week.

• Deep subject matter expertise in transmission and acquisition within 24/7 media.
• Experience managing vendor SLAs, telecom services, and security reviews.
• Familiarity with streaming video workflows and IP-based distribution.
