TL;DR

Manager, Solution Engineering (AI): Leading and scaling a high-performing sales engineering team to drive expansion into new industry verticals with an accent on AI-first GTM strategies and complex workflow optimization. Focus on building team expertise, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering impactful technical solutions to revenue leaders.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Austin, Chicago, New York City, Salt Lake City, or San Francisco

Compensation: $213,000 - $250,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Lead, recruit, and mentor a high-performing sales engineering team.
  • Develop industry-specific collateral and processes to support expansion into verticals like Financial Services, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Train team members on new platform features and GTM strategies.
  • Act as a steward of company culture and operating principles.
  • Engage directly on deals to support team success and maintain technical expertise.

Requirements

  • 6-12 years of relevant sales engineering experience with a proven track record in management.
  • Must have experience selling into Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Energy verticals.
  • Strong understanding of GTM sales personas, forecasting, and prospecting workflows.
  • Technical proficiency in CRMs, cloud architecture, APIs, and AI/ML concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional leadership.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Experience building a sales engineering team from the ground up.
  • Deep knowledge of security and privacy considerations in SaaS environments.
