What you will do
- Manage incoming patient calls and chats, providing warm transfers as necessary.
- Execute new patient intake procedures and schedule appointments according to clinic protocols.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and update records using portals like Availity.
- Process referrals, eFaxes, and Notices of Eligibility with high attention to detail.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and departmental guidelines.
- Participate in performance reviews and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
- Must be based in the U.S. and able to work Eastern Time hours.
- Must have a static IP address for EMR system access.
- Must have two monitors for daily operations.
- Experience in medical scheduling and customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR software (eClinicalWorks preferred).
