What you will do

• Analyze existing production processes to identify and implement automation potential.
• Develop, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Development teams to introduce new technologies.
• Ensure the stability, safety, and continuous optimization of automated systems.
• Drive digitalization efforts including Industry 4.0 and machine connectivity.
• Train team members to build internal automation expertise.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Experience with industrial networks and automation standards.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary project teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics and IT/DevOps integration in manufacturing.
• Previous experience in Industry 4.0 environments.
