What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical support for production-critical automation and digital systems.
• Maintain systems in a validated and compliant state adhering to GMP and GAMP guidelines.
• Perform root-cause analysis for incidents, deviations, and unplanned events to ensure production continuity.
• Manage automation software lifecycles for DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and PC-based systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for system upgrades and NPI projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Mechatronic, Chemical, or Computer Science Engineering.
• Significant hands-on experience with automation control systems in pharmaceutical or GMP environments.
• Expert knowledge of DeltaV DCS, PLCs, SCADA, and PC-based platforms.
• Strong understanding of GAMP guidelines and automation lifecycle management.
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills in manufacturing environments.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Freiburg, Germany
