What you will do

• Formulate, test, and validate new manufacturing processes such as automated joining, dispensing, laser welding, and vision inspection.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using robotics, custom tooling, vision systems, and PLCs.
• Draft functional specifications and RFPs for external automation vendors and lead the technical selection process.
• Drive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure equipment meets cycle time and yield targets.
• Manage the deployment, programming, troubleshooting, and final hand-off of automated equipment to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in developing advanced manufacturing processes and integrating robotics and vision systems.
• Proven track record of managing technical vendors and machine builders from specification through to FAT/SAT.
