What you will do

• Diagnose and repair complex faults in automated systems, including PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute and continuously improve preventive maintenance activities to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Implement technical improvements and corrective actions to increase machine performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Provide technical support, practical guidance, and on-the-job coaching for Junior Technicians and apprentices.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of new machinery.
• Ensure all maintenance activities and modifications are documented according to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Completed technical training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in industrial maintenance within an automated production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Structured, independent, and safety-focused working approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of industrial robotics (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc).
• Experience with CMMS, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), or Lean Manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of industrial network and fieldbus systems such as Profinet, Profibus, or Ethernet/IP.
