Automation Engineer (Siemens)

Salary: EUR 2,525–4,075 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Provide end-to-end automation support across PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Level 2 systems.
• Coordinate and troubleshoot tags, alarms, handshakes, communications, sequences, visualization, and data-flow issues.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and customer validation activities.
• Prepare checklists and test cases for industrial control solutions.
• Contribute to automation modernization projects for steel and metals production.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience with both PLC and SCADA/HMI systems.
• Experience with the Siemens ecosystem in real-world projects.
• Understanding of L1/L2/L3 architecture and industrial integration scenarios.
• Strong diagnostics and commissioning experience in steel or metals production.
• English at Intermediate level or higher.

Nice to have

• Lead or owner experience during commissioning and startup phases.
• Understanding of OT networks, segmentation, routing basics, and infrastructure.
