TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Platform & Infrastructure): Own the infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience that underpin all platform engineering with an accent on AWS multi-region readiness, SRE reliability programs (SLIs/SLOs, incident response, MTTR), and building internal CI/CD and tooling. Focus on designing scalable cloud infrastructure, improving observability and operational excellence, and translating infrastructure complexity into business impact.

What you will do

  • Architect and manage AWS infrastructure for scalability, cost efficiency, and multi-region readiness using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
  • Build and expand reliability/SRE practices: define SLIs/SLOs, improve incident response and observability (Datadog, Sentry), and reduce MTTR.
  • Develop internal developer experience: platform tooling, CI/CD, and internal platforms that increase product engineering velocity.
  • Oversee IT operations for secure systems, tooling, and access management for engineering teams.
  • Partner with the Engineering Manager to define the platform roadmap and technical strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years hands-on experience with AWS, containerization, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Proven experience designing reliability programs at scale (SLIs/SLOs, on-call, incident management).
  • Experience with security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI-DSS) in a SaaS/fintech context.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate infrastructure complexity into business impact for leadership.
  • Startup/scale-up mindset with pragmatic, hands-on execution.
