What you will do

• Redesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual intervention and increase deployment velocity.
• Build internal tooling and ephemeral development environments to enhance the daily developer experience.
• Implement AI-assisted tooling to automate repetitive operational tasks and code reviews.
• Embed security guardrails, vulnerability scanning, and secret detection directly into the SDLC.
• Establish metrics for deployment performance and pipeline health using observability tools.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and drive scalable engineering improvements across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building CI/CD systems, developer tooling, or infrastructure platforms.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Proven track record of integrating security checks into deployment workflows.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills for remote-first environments.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI or LLM-based tooling to software engineering workflows.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics, release automation, or operational maturity models.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.
• Experience working within compliance-sensitive B2B SaaS environments (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
