Product & Experience Designer (Medtech)

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 per year + equity

What you will do

• Lead design from discovery to delivery for web and mobile healthcare product initiatives.
• Translate complex user, clinical, and business needs into intuitive workflows and interaction patterns.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Map end-to-end service and product experiences to identify and resolve friction points.
• Collaborate with engineering, clinical, and operations teams to ensure high-fidelity implementation.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and accessibility.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or experience design.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to create detailed artifacts including user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Experience solving complex, multi-stakeholder problems in fast-paced or startup-like environments.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or other complex, regulated environments.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and iterative product development.
• Experience designing cohesive experiences across multiple products or platforms.
• Comfort using AI tools to support ideation and workflow efficiency.
