Product Designer (AI)

TL;DR

Product Designer (AI): Designing and shipping user-centric products for the construction industry with an accent on AI agent workflows and complex back-office automation. Location: Must be based in New York City, with a requirement to work on-site Monday–Thursday in the Union Square office.

Compensation: $160,000–$180,000 OTE plus equity.

What you will do

• Design and ship new product features end-to-end in close partnership with product and engineering teams.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to validate solutions and improve user experience.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align user needs, business goals, and product vision.
• Define product experiences for AI agents automating construction back-office tasks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or startup environments.
• Strong skills in UX/UI design, user research, and design systems.
• Demonstrated ability to own projects from concept to delivery.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Comfort with fast-evolving processes and building in an AI-native product environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York City (Monday–Thursday).
