Vice President/Executive Director (Loan Negotiations)

What you will do

• Lead the negotiation of financing commitment papers, credit agreements, and intercreditor arrangements.
• Structure complex debt transactions and identify structural or jurisdictional risks.
• Manage transaction execution and coordinate with internal deal teams, capital markets, and legal counsel.
• Participate in the syndication process and address investor concerns regarding documentary terms.
• Liaise with Legal and Credit departments to ensure transaction risks are understood and approved.
• Contribute to internal credit committee approval processes and formal documentation.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in a law firm or a similar banking role.
• Law Degree/GDL or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of contractual analysis, intercreditor agreements, and structural enforcement.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing work streams in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong commercial judgment and integrity.
