Associate/VP, Credit Repo Trader (Credit Repo)

What you will do

• Execute repo and reverse repo transactions across investment-grade, high-yield, and emerging-market securities.
• Deliver long and short financing solutions to clients and internal trading desks.
• Develop relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and broker-dealers.
• Identify financing opportunities and expand short-covering and hard-to-borrow securities capabilities.
• Optimize credit inventory, collateral, liquidity, balance-sheet usage, and external borrowing costs.
• Work with Risk, Credit, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance to expand the Credit Repo franchise.

Requirements

• Experience in repo, securities finance, fixed-income financing, credit trading, prime financing, or a related markets activity.
• In-depth understanding of financing markets and collateralized trading products.
• Direct experience interacting with clients and market counterparties.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and market structure.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial judgment, business-development ability, entrepreneurial mindset, and disciplined risk-management approach.

Nice to have

• CFA, FRM, or similar qualification.
• Experience financing investment-grade, high-yield, or emerging-market credit products.
• Experience with hedge funds, institutional investors, securities borrowing and lending, inventory management, or short-covering activity.
• Experience working across multiple regions and currencies, with existing market relationships.
