Senior Consultant, Investment Operations - Asset Management

What you will do

• Provide operational support to Portfolio Managers, Trading Desks, and Client Servicing teams.
• Monitor portfolio positions, cash balances, trade activity, and operational controls.
• Manage account setup, maintenance, lifecycle activities, corporate actions, exceptions, custody, and FX instructions.
• Act as a subject matter expert on complex investment operations issues and deliver resolutions.
• Lead strategic, cross-functional, and process improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and control enhancements.
• Support audits, governance, regulatory requirements, stakeholder communication, and mentoring of junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• At least 8 years of experience in asset management, banking, financial services, BPO, or KPO.
• Strong knowledge of investment operations, portfolio support, middle-office products, financial instruments, and market operations.
• Experience supporting Portfolio Managers, Account Managers, and Trading teams.
• Experience leading complex operational initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, with strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, FRM, or another relevant professional qualification.
