Corporate Actions Associate

Location: Chicago, United States

Annual base salary: $110,000–$150,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills. Annual discretionary bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Support daily global corporate actions operations, research, event validation, and exception resolution.
• Oversee entitlement and liability processing, voluntary elections, and reconciliation against prime broker and custodian reports.
• Investigate corporate action inquiries from trading desks, technology teams, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with product managers and technology teams to build and test a new corporate actions event management system.
• Define system logic for automated entitlement bookings and adjustments and improve reconciliation processes.
• Help develop the global risk and coverage model by introducing new controls and operational methods.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of relevant corporate action experience, preferably across multiple regions and markets.
• Strong understanding of corporate action types, lifecycles, and market-specific nuances.
• Experience with corporate action vendor data and prime broker portals.
• Working knowledge of equity instrument reference data.
• Experience driving measurable results in operational projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage daily operations and project support.
