What you will do
- Lead the creation of complex, high-impact user interfaces meeting rigorous accessibility standards.
- Plan and conduct autonomous user research to drive strategic design decisions.
- Own the end-to-end development of wireframes, prototypes, and detailed designs.
- Evolve the design system to meet project needs and provide strategic implementation guidance.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and articulate design rationale to senior stakeholders.
- Lead iterative design processes, encouraging experimentation and validation to improve usability.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
- Previous experience designing AI-native products.
- Proven experience working in UK Defence or with UK Defence clients.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product direction and wider product strategy.
- Experience establishing design systems and ensuring consistency across projects.
- Advanced expertise in design tools and methods, including AI-powered tools.
