What you will do

• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across products.
• Build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at scale.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to brainstorm, define, and build innovative security technologies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve architecture, knowledge models, performance, and stability.
• Mentor other developers on backend, web, and data storage technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or professional experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of scalability (sharding, partitioning, concurrency, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, including testing paradigms and effective peer code reviews.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative environment.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the London office on a hybrid basis.

Nice to have

• Existing exposure to Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence field.
