Expert Backend Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain large-scale distributed backend components from research and design through testing, rollout, and monitoring.
• Contribute to technology and architecture decisions for Wiz’s multi-cloud platform.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of backend system components.
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of backend engineering experience using a high-level programming language such as Java, C#, or Golang.
• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Legal right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture, databases, and message queues.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment.
• Familiarity with Golang, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Neptune, Docker, and Kubernetes.
