Senior Account Executive (Vertica): Owning and driving enterprise revenue growth by leading end-to-end sales cycles for ’s Vertica analytics platform with an accent on complex multi-stakeholder deal execution and C-level consultative selling. Focus on translating technical capabilities into measurable business value, building territory strategy and pipeline in Salesforce, and positioning Vertica competitively against Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, and Teradata.

What you will do
- Own and deliver against revenue targets for an assigned territory and/or strategic accounts.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to generate pipeline and grow revenue.
- Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from early opportunity shaping through negotiation and close.
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders (CDO, CTO, CIO, VP Data) and position Vertica for data-driven transformation.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers on technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and solution positioning.
- Manage competitive sales strategies and partner co-sell motions (GSIs, VARs), maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Proven ability to own and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
- Experience selling into large enterprises / Global 1000 organizations with accountability for revenue outcomes.
- 2–3+ years of product sales experience in data & analytics areas such as data analytics, data warehousing, big data platforms, lakehouse architectures, or AI/ML-driven data solutions.
- Strong familiarity with the analytics/database ecosystem, including Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, and Teradata.
- Ability to engage C-level executives and senior data leaders with consultative, value-based selling; based in Spain (Madrid area) for remote work.
