What you will do
- Supervise daily team operations, ensuring workload allocation and service levels are met.
- Provide first-line leadership, including coaching, feedback, and development planning for team members.
- Oversee end-to-end settlement processes across EMEA markets, ensuring accurate trade instruction and matching.
- Monitor risk and control checkpoints, including exception management and escalation of material issues.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex settlement issues with custodians and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and supporting automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in capital markets operations, specifically in settlements or trade support.
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering operational objectives in high-volume environments.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes.
- In-depth knowledge of EMEA settlement market practices and platforms like Euroclear, Clearstream, or CREST.
- Strong risk and control mindset with experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
