What you will do

• Lead risk oversight for the UK entity, covering risks affecting UK clients, regulatory posture, and operational resilience.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report financial, operational, conduct, and third-party or outsourcing risks.
• Manage outsourced and shared-service delivery from Group Risk, setting UK requirements and holding the function accountable for quality and timeliness.
• Identify gaps or conflicts between Group Risk outputs and UK regulatory obligations, escalating where service levels or results are insufficient.
• Act as the primary risk voice in UK governance forums and the lead contact for FCA supervisory engagement on risk matters.
• Report directly to the UK CEO with a functional dotted line to the Group CRO.

Requirements

• Senior risk leadership experience with the ability to engage substantively with risk frameworks, stress tests, management information, and regulatory submissions.
• Strong understanding of financial, operational, conduct, and third-party or outsourcing risk.
• Experience managing intra-group or outsourced critical and important functions with robust governance oversight.
• Ability to identify regulatory gaps, challenge service delivery, and escalate issues effectively.
• Experience acting as a senior risk representative in governance forums and regulatory engagements.
