What you will do

• Manage manufacturing excursions, containment activities, and resolve hold conditions to minimize production impact.
• Lead quality aspects of new product startup activities and validate manufacturing processes for new launches.
• Analyze process capability using statistical tools and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Utilize data analytics and machine learning techniques to identify trends and drive decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize workflows and enhance product reliability.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, including 8D analyses and excursion summaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Micro-E, Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or related).
• Proven experience in manufacturing or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, TS 16949) and new product introduction processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, and SQL.
• Must be able to work on-site in Kulim, Malaysia.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with FMEA (Process and Design) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Background in scripting programs and automation tools.
• Experience in customer-facing quality support and handling escalations.
