What you will do

• Design and build the cloud platform for hirify.global Cloud and Vector Lakebase, integrating control planes with database runtimes.
• Automate distributed database provisioning, scaling, upgrades, and workload migration.
• Develop cloud-native systems for fast workload placement, elastic scaling, and multi-tenant isolation.
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, and operational simplicity across multiple cloud regions.
• Collaborate with database and product engineers to safely deploy new capabilities into production.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows for deployment validation, diagnosis, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production SaaS platforms, data platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Redwood City, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience building cloud-native scheduling, orchestration, or resource management systems.
• Understanding of distributed database internals, focusing on scalability and multi-tenant isolation.
• Strong interest in AI-assisted development and improving engineering productivity.
