What you will do

• Monitor and maintain mission-critical production services to ensure maximum uptime.
• Design and implement scalable distributed systems to facilitate the development of self-driving vehicles.
• Establish an incident management framework and a culture of blameless postmortems.
• Scale the reliability and velocity of systems and processes through increased automation.
• Build a comprehensive library of runbooks as a knowledge base and foundation for automation.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to uphold production SLOs and SLAs.

Requirements

• Expertise in at least one scripting language, such as Python or Bash.
• Fundamental understanding of Linux operating system internals, TCP/IP networking, and storage subsystems.
• Experience scaling and securing services in cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong experience implementing and debugging Kubernetes, etcd, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Istio.
• Must be a U.S. person or citizen to comply with U.S. national security and export control laws.
