Senior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Drive adoption of consistent DevOps practices across engineering projects, including source control, branching, build, testing, deployment, release, and operational readiness.
• Design, implement, and maintain shared CI/CD frameworks, automation capabilities, infrastructure-as-code templates, testing templates, and release standards.
• Review projects against SDLC standards, quality gates, security controls, documentation requirements, traceability standards, and audit-readiness expectations.
• Integrate automated testing, static analysis, dependency scanning, secret scanning, and deployment approvals into delivery pipelines.
• Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, Data, QA, Product, and Delivery teams on non-functional requirements and operational readiness.
• Mentor DevOps engineers through pipeline reviews, design guidance, knowledge sharing, playbooks, and hands-on enablement.

Requirements

• Senior-level hands-on DevOps engineering experience in complex enterprise environments, typically 5–8 years in DevOps, platform, software, or release engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC governance, Agile delivery, quality gates, audit-ready software delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks and deployment models.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, Git-based source control, pull requests, pipeline as code, and secure branching.
• Hands-on infrastructure-as-code and automation experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of Azure and/or AWS cloud-native delivery, containers, Kubernetes or comparable services, monitoring, networking, and security.
• Proficient spoken and written English; comfortable communicating in a remote-first, multilingual, global environment.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or security-related certifications.
• Experience with audit-conscious enterprise environments, large-scale transformation, SDLC standardisation, DevOps adoption, or platform consolidation.
