What you will do

• Apply industrial engineering methods to support labor planning, staffing optimization, and forecasting.
• Conduct on-site observational studies to evaluate operational processes and guest flow.
• Analyze operational performance data to identify trends and performance gaps.
• Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI and Excel to track KPIs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements in a live environment.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Must be able to work on-site in Universal City, CA at least 4 days per week.
• 1+ years of relevant analytical or operational experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SQL or Python.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with workforce management, labor planning, or staffing optimization.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Exposure to cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
• Background in theme parks, hospitality, or high-volume operational environments.
