AI-driven clean-tech company using advanced AI models and sensors to discover critical mineral deposits for electric vehicles and renewable energy.

What you will do

  • Lead the company's legal functions regarding employment law, immigration, and general litigation on a global scale.
  • Advise on employment matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, Australia, Canada, UK, Europe, and Africa.
  • Draft and negotiate workforce documents, including employment agreements, separation agreements, and employee handbooks.
  • Manage disputes, arbitration, and settlements, acting as the primary legal contact for all litigation matters.
  • Partner with HR, finance, and tax teams on workforce mobility, visas, and employee equity administration.
  • Support public-company readiness, including compensation governance and executive employment arrangements.

Requirements

  • 13-16 years of experience, with at least 4 years at a top law firm as an employment or benefits associate.
  • Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States or Canada.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
  • J.D. from a top law school and active admission to a state bar.
  • Extensive experience managing highly mobile international workforces and cross-border employment issues.
  • Proven track record in litigation, internal investigations, and dealing with government agencies.

Nice to have

  • French language skills.
  • Experience with labor unions, works councils, or non-US pension systems.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, or AI compliance matters.
