Salary: $210,000–$235,000 base + $15,000–$40,000 target bonus

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and close revenue-critical commercial agreements.
• Build and refine modern, AI-enabled legal tooling and approval workflows.
• Support corporate governance, board matters, and entity maintenance.
• Manage compliance areas including data privacy, security, and export controls.
• Partner with sales, finance, and product teams to translate legal concepts into business solutions.
• Learn to manage outside counsel while owning core legal work in-house.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of legal experience, including training at a top-tier law firm.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong foundation in commercial contracts and corporate matters.
• Business-minded orientation with a focus on enabling growth while managing risk.
• Must be based in the U.S.
• Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for adopting modern legal-tech tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure, cloud, or marketplace business models.
• Background in early-stage or hypergrowth technology companies.
• Hands-on experience with AI or legal-tech tools.
• Comfort with complex, SLA-driven, or non-standard commercial agreements.
