What you will do

• Assemble mechanical wind turbine components using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes.
• Follow detailed engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate builds.
• Perform torquing, alignment, and fit-up of gearboxes, bearings, and shafts.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve assembly processes.
• Support other production areas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and technical documentation.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain crane operator certification.
• Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test.
• Fluent English proficiency required for safety communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in wind turbine, automotive, or industrial equipment assembly.
• Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 Quality System.
